1. Parties and Agreement

1.1 These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you”) and Yassine Rajallah, operating as a sole proprietor under German law (“AI Text Watermark Remover,” “we,” “us,” “our”), regarding your access to and use of the AI Text Watermark Remover tool and website (the “Service”).

1.2 By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

2.1 AI Text Watermark Remover is a free tool that rewrites text you submit using a reasoning-enabled AI system, to reduce statistical AI-detector and watermark signal while preserving your original meaning. The specific processing method is proprietary and not disclosed.

2.2 The Service requires no account or payment. We may in the future offer optional paid features; if we do, we will update these Terms accordingly before any charge applies.

2.3 We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service and may change, limit, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time.

3. Eligibility

3.1 You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.

3.2 You represent that your use of the Service will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Your Input and Output Text

4.1 You are solely responsible for the text you submit. By submitting text, you represent that you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, and does not contain unlawful content.

4.2 You retain full ownership of the text you submit and the output the Service returns to you. We claim no intellectual property rights over it.

4.3 We grant you no rights beyond the ability to use the Service to process your own text. You may not use the Service to process text on behalf of third parties at scale, or in a way that violates Section 6.

5. No Guarantee of Detector or Platform Outcomes

5.1 The Service reduces certain statistical patterns that some AI detectors and watermarking systems rely on. We make no guarantee that output from the Service will pass any specific AI detector, plagiarism checker, or watermark-verification system, now or in the future, detection methods vary and change over time.

5.2 You are solely responsible for complying with the rules of any platform, institution, publication, or context in which you use the output, including academic integrity policies, employer policies, and platform terms of service. We are not liable for any consequence of submitting AI-assisted or AI-rewritten text where doing so violates a third party’s rules.

5.3 The Service uses AI systems subject to the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). None of the AI systems used are classified as high-risk under that regulation.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

6.1 Submit or generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;

6.2 Submit another identifiable person’s personal or confidential data without authorization to do so;

6.3 Attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse engineer the Service, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure;

6.4 Use the Service to build a competing product by systematically extracting its outputs or methodology;

6.5 Use the Service in any way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or disrupts availability for other users.

We may block or rate-limit access for any user we reasonably believe is violating this section.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

7.1 The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that: the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times; the rewritten output will be accurate, complete, or free of altered meaning; or the output will achieve any particular result, including evading any specific detector.

7.2 Statutory warranty rights of consumers that cannot be excluded under applicable law are not affected by this section.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Unlimited liability: We are fully liable without limitation for damages arising from: (a) intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit); (b) injury to life, body, or health; (c) a guarantee (Garantie) given by us; (d) mandatory liability under applicable law including the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).

8.2 Limited liability for simple negligence: For damages caused by simple negligence, we are only liable for breach of a material contractual obligation (Kardinalpflicht), and in such cases liability is limited to damages that were foreseeable and typical for a free tool of this kind.

8.3 Exclusion for other simple negligence: For simple negligence in relation to non-material obligations, and for indirect losses, liability is excluded.

8.4 Free-of-charge service: Because the Service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability is capped at €100 per claim, except where Section 8.1 applies.

8.5 Nothing in this Section limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

9.1 You may stop using the Service at any time; there is nothing to cancel.

9.2 We may suspend or block access for any user who violates Section 6, or discontinue the Service entirely, at any time.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 EU Online Dispute Resolution: The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in ADR proceedings and do not currently participate in any particular ADR scheme, but we encourage you to contact us first.

10.2 Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

10.3 Jurisdiction: For disputes with business users, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany. For disputes with consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply and this clause does not restrict any mandatory consumer rights.

11. Miscellaneous

11.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force and the void provision is replaced by the closest applicable statutory rule.

11.2 Changes to these Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at aitextwatermarkremover.io/terms-of-service with the “Effective Date” at the top. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11.3 Language: These Terms are provided in English. In the event of any conflict between an English version and any translation, the English version prevails.
